New Delhi, Jan 16 In an offer to determine their disparities, Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra today met the four senior most judges of the Supreme Court who had flung a few allegations against him including on the issue of allotment of PILs of delicate nature.
The apex court sources said the Chief Justice met the four judges - Justices J Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, M B Lokur and Kurian Joseph - for around 15 minutes before beginning the typical work of the day.
Some different judges were likewise present in the gathering, the sources said.
After the gathering, the CJI and the four judges proceeded with their recorded business.
Notwithstanding positive thinking communicated yesterday by lawful bodies, the emergency in the Supreme Court over protests against the central equity appeared to be a long way from being done.
At a public interview a week ago, the four judges had hailed certain issues, including the allocating of cases by the CJI, and said there were sure issues harassing the nation's most noteworthy court.
Prior in the day, Attorney General K Venugopal told "I think it (emergency) has not been settled. Lets trust things will be completely settled inside 2-3 days."
Preeminent Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Vikas Singh likewise oozed certainty that there was a probability of the emergency being settled before the current week's over.
Recently, Venugopal and Bar Council of India Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra had said the emergency has finished and there is no debate now.
