Lucknow Jan 20 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday reported an ex-gratia pay of Rs. 25 lakh for the family of killed Border Security Force (BSF) Head Constable Jagpal Singh.
Singh lost his life in firing from over the border by Pakistan Rangers in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba Sector yesterday.
On Friday, an Army trooper, Jagpal Singh and two civilians were killed while 11 others were harmed in unwarranted mortar shelling and little arms discharging along the International Border and the Line of Control.
Following the cross-border terminating episode, Pakistan's Deputy High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah was summoned by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and passed on the Indian government's grave worry over proceeded with ceasefire violations and think focusing of honest regular people by Pakistani powers.
