Subramaian Swamy questions Sitharaman's hush over Mufti's FIR

New Delhi, Jan 31 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pioneer Subramaian Swamy on Wednesday brought up an issue on Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's quiet finished Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's decision to file an FIR against the army personnel for Shopian firing.

Swamy said that the incident is against patriotism, including that if the Defense Minister does not clear up her remain by January 2 on the issue, at that point he will bring the issue up in the place of the Parliament.

"I am asking why Nirmala Sitharamana has not given any clarification. Do we interpret her quiet as meaning yes. On the off chance that it is then it is really against party approaches, the estimation of the general population of India and against patriotism," Swamy said.

"I have chosen that in the event that she doesn't give an illumination by the morning of February 2, at that point I will bring the issue up in the house," he included.

This comes after Jammu and Kashmir police filed a FIR against the armed force unit associated with the Shopian terminating.
