New Delhi, Jan 16 The Supreme Court on Tuesday deferred the issue relating to apportioning of cabins to previous chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh for tomorrow.
The Uttar Pradesh-based NGO Lok Prahari has prior recorded a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) testing the 2016 changes amid the then Akhilesh Yadav government in the Uttar Pradesh Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Miscellaneous) Provisions Act, 1981.
The amendment was presented after the top court's August 2016 order where it held that previous boss pastors should hand over ownership of the cottages possessed by them.
