Mukesh Ambani: RIL to put Rs 5,000 cr in West Bengal

Kolkata, Jan 16 RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani today declared Rs 5,000 crore interest in extending telecom and petro-retail organizations in West Bengal and said his organization is investigating the likelihood of setting up an assembling office for cell phones and set-top boxes.

Talking at the Bengal Global Business Summit, India's wealthiest man paid luxurious compliments to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee saying that under her authority "West Bengal is ending up Best Bengal!"

Ambani said his company Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) had conferred a speculation of Rs 4,500 crore in the state yet has wound up contributing Rs 15,000 crore.
