Donald Trump puts off 'fake news grants', to be reported on January 17

Washington, Jan 8 US President Donald Trump today put off the declaration until January 17 of his much-discussed 'counterfeit news honors' to the "most degenerate and one-sided" American predominant press for its "dishonesty and bad reporting".

Trump,71, has been at loggerheads with a few US prevailing press outlets, including the CNN, ABC News, The New York Times and the Washington Post.

He has regularly portrayed these mainstream media houses as "fake media".

The honors should be announced today, however Trump upon his arrival from the Camp David presidential withdraw yesterday tweeted about the new date for one-of its-kind honors to be given to the few media houses.

"The Fake News Awards, those setting off to the most degenerate and one-sided of the Mainstream Media, will be exhibited to the failures on Wednesday, January seventeenth, as opposed to this coming Monday," he tweeted.

"The enthusiasm for, and importance of, these awards is far more prominent than anybody could have expected!" he said.

The "fake media" term is presently famously identified with news with which one doesn't concur with.
