Lalu Prasad condemning conceded till tomorrow: Fodder scam

Ranchi (Jharkhand), Jan. 4 The Ranchi Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court will now pronounce the quantum of sentence against Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad regarding fodder scamon Friday.

During the procedures, the court said that Bihar cautiousness Director General, Janata Dal (United) pioneer Jagdish Sharma and former Bihar Director General of Police D. P. Ojha are the main masterminds in the scam.

Prior on January 3, the court conceded the issue because of the death of advocate Vindeshwari Prasad.

The court also found Lalu's son Tejasvi Yadav and other party pioneers Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Manoj Jha guilty of contempt of court.

On December 23, the RJD chief, alongside 14 others, was found guilty by the court, while seven charged, including former Bihar Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra, were acquitted.

Lalu has been indicted one for the instances of the fodder scam, wherein Rs 900 crore from the Bihar exchequer was redirected under the guise of buying feed for animals, amid the '80s and '90s.
