Supreme Court permitted Bihar to play national cricket championships

New Delhi, Jan 4 The Supreme Court today permitted Bihar Cricket Association to partake in Ranji Trophy and comparative other national-level cricket championships.

A seat headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra made it to clear that Bihar, which had not been permitted to take part in national-level cricket tournaments, must play cricket.

The seat, likewise containing Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud, said that Bihar Cricket Association, which has been chosen by goodness of a apex court arrange, might be accountable for the diversion in the state.

"This request has been passed keeping in see the reason for cricket," the court stated, including that it won't make any equity in favour of the Bihar Cricket Association.
