नई दिल्ली, 17 सितम्बर: कांग्रेस पार्टी के एक महिला उम्मीदवार ने कथित तौर पर 2012 में एमसीडी चुनावों के दौरान मतदाता पर जातिवादियों को मारने और धमकी देने का आरोप लगाते हुए एक अदालत ने उन्हें छुट्टी दे दी।

अदालत ने कहा कि उनकी टिप्पणी "नेची जाति वाला" विशेष रूप से अनुसूचित जाति या अनुसूचित जनजाति को दर्शाती नहीं है, लेकिन कोई भी जाति हो सकती है, उन्होंने कहा कि धमकी देने का आरोप भी शिकायतकर्ता के बयान से गायब था।

अदालत ने यह भी कहा कि शिकायतकर्ता के बयान से धमकी का आरोप गायब था।

पुलिस ने अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति (अत्याचार निवारण) अधिनियम के तहत कथित अपराध के लिए जोगेंडर की शिकायत पर एफआईआर दर्ज कराई थी।

आरोपों का खंडन करते हुए आरोपी महिला के वकील ने दावा किया था कि 'नच जाट' का मतलब अनुसूचित जाति के रूप में शिकायतकर्ता की जाति नहीं है।

Denying the allegations, the counsel for the accused lady had claimed that 'Neech Jaat' does not mean the standing of the complainant as scheduled caste.
