French president to visit Caribbean islands hit by Irma

Paris, Sep 12 (AP) President Emmanuel Macron will visit French Caribbean islands pounded by Hurricane Irma where inhabitants have condemned the legislature for not doing what's needed to set them up for the tempest's decimation.

Macron's plane is bringing water, food and tons of medicines and crisis hardware. He will initially visit Guadeloupe today morning before making a beeline for St Martin to meet with inhabitants, and after that to St Barts.

The president is additionally being joined by doctors and experts will's identity accountable for assessing the harm. St Martin was one of the hardest-hit islands where 10 people were killed.

Around 1,500 troops, police and emergency laborers were on the ground to help islanders, and 500 others were relied upon to land in the coming days, as per French experts.
