New York, Sep 19 External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has held meetings with her partners from five nations on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session here to examine reciprocal participation and push for India's improvement motivation.
Swaraj held converses with the foreign ministers of Tunisia, Bahrain, Latvia, the United Arab Emirates and Denmark.
"Broadly the focus was on bilateral collaboration," External Affairs Ministry representative Raveesh Kumar told reporters at a news meeting here.
During the meeting with Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui, Swaraj revealed to him that she was looking forward to the next joint commission meeting between the two nations to be held in New Delhi on October 30-31.
"There are a lot of discussions on how to reinvigorate economic relationship. Parts like pharma, materials biotechnology, sustainable power source and IT were distinguished for future collaboration," Kumar said.
Swaraj, as per Kumar, felt that there was a huge potential for sending out Indian pharma items particularly antibodies to Tunisia as the cost of its drugs are very aggressive.
In her meeting with the Denmark Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen, talk was hung on when to hold the next meeting of the Joint Commission.

Swaraj likewise welcomed Danish support for investment in India.
In her meeting with the Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics, the attention was on growing exchange relations.
