Pakistan's election commission issues warrant against Imran Khan

Islamabad, Sep 14 Pakistan's election commission has issued a bailable capture warrant against cricketer-turned-legislator Imran Khan for more than once neglecting to show up before it in a contempt case.

The Election Commission of Pakistan was hearing a case against 64-year-old Khan filedby a dissenter from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and one of the founding members Akbar S Babar.

The ECP requested the party chief to show up under the watchful eye of the court on September 25.
