Saif Ali Khan: Nepotism is horrible thing, I am absolutely against it

New Delhi, Sep 29 Saif Ali Khan, who got involved in a much publicised debate after he chanted "nepotism rocks" at an awards function, says he may have profited from his ancestry yet is "totally against nepotism".

The actor, who needed to apologize to Kangana Ranaut for his comments at the IIFA function in July, says nepotism is "shocking" uncommonly on the off chance that it brings about pushing forward the undeserving person.

In a meeting Saif says, "Nepotism is a horrible thing. I am totally against nepotism. I have profited from it without a doubt. Unquestionably, we have more opportunities than people who are not connected to movies.

"But how long can one survives depends on talent and hard work. There are such a large number of individuals like Shah Rukh Khan who have made due with no conjunctions. For one star kid succeeding there are fifty star kids which are failing."

Saif, who is the child of yesteryear actor Sharmila Tagore, is looking forward to the acting presentation of his little girl Sara Ali Khan. He says nepotism by temperance is negative and such points should be featured now and again.

Saif, in any case, trusts his girl Sara, who is making her presentation with Abhishek Kapoor's "Kedarnath", will have the capacity to manage the weight of this civil argument.

"Good things exceed negative things. Furthermore, I feel there are a considerable measure of good things around to spur Sara. It is a lucrative, high weight extraordinary occupation. In any case, it has a darker side also. It is alright, that is a piece of the calling and she will understand that.

"She will have to deal with a lot of things. It isn't care for a scholarly subject where you are giving an introduction.

It resembles you are putting forth your spirit for understanding.

She has to be open to criticism. I have faced a lot and have been open to it," he says.
