Pakistan violates ceasefire, focused forward posts

Jammu, Sep 27 The Pakistan Army on Tuesday focused forward posts along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district with mortars and little arms fire

"The Indian Army is retaliating strongly and adequately," a defence Spokesman said

"Pakistan Army started ridiculous and unpredictable terminating of little arms, programmed and mortars from 0815 hours in Poonch and Bhimbher Gali sectors along the Line of Control (LoC)", the representative said

The firing is still on.

On September 24, two soldiers were harmed as Pakistan opened fire at forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Balakote sector of Poonch area

On September 23, Pakistan troops focused on BoPs in Arnia, R S Pura and Ramgarh and Poonch segments along the IB and LoC in Jammu, Samba and Poonch locale bringing about wounds to seven people

More than 20,000 people have fled their villas along the IB in Arnia and R S Pura areas because of shooting and shelling from over the border.
