Money crunch: Akhilesh Yadav alleges international against economy

Lucknow, Apr 18 A day after reports rose that ATMs in many parts of the nation had run dry of money, previous Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday asserted that there was a universal scheme to hit the Indian economy.

"There is money crunch even when paper, ink and machines were brought from abroad. I think there is a global intrigue to hit Indian economy," Yadav told reporters.

Yadav also made a hidden allegation against the BJP-drove Center of storing the money notes.

"We have read in newspaper that the greater part of the cash notes have been printed in BJP rule. In the event that there are cash in the nation, yet banks and ATMs are vacant, than where is the cash? Is it being kept down, this is government's obligation or might be government implied for this storing?" he doubted.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Tuesday cleared up that no currency shortage took place.

Be that as it may, earlier in the day, nationals kept on confronting the issue.
