Lucknow, Apr 28 Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday guaranteed that politics has been a piece of India before Independence, including that even Lord Rama and Krishna were indulged in politics.
Addressing to a social affair at an occasion here, Singh further said that Lord Rama's political further was to build 'Ram Rajya'.
"Politics has been a part of India before Independence. Indeed, even Lord Rama and Krishna were reveled politics. Lord Rama's political objective was to build 'Ram Rajya'. Ruler Rama did legislative issues with vigorous dedication," he said.
Singh was on a two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Lucknow from April 27.
