New Delhi, Apr 30 Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Monday met Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad, who is experiencing treatment for different diseases identified with heart and kidney at All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here.
The former Bihar chief minister has been serving the jail term in Ranchi's Birsa Munda Jail since December 23 a year ago regarding the grub trick
The imprisoned minister, who was admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi on March 16 after he grumbled of distress at Birsa Munda Jail, was later moved to the AIIMS.
The suggestion came after the medical board at the RIMS evaluated the state of Lalu Prasad and found that his sugar level was high and expanding.
They also said that he had developed some renal issues.
