New Delhi Apr 12 Congress' Kapil Sibal, on Thursday, asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the event that he is endeavoring to give the message 'Betiyaan chuppao' rather than 'Betiyaan padhao', in context of the Kathua and Unnao assault cases.
"Prime Minister, would you like to give the message of 'Betiyaan chuppao' or Beti Bachao'?" asked Sibal.
The statement came a day after the Jammu and Kashmir wrongdoing branch presented a charge sheet on the assault of a 8-year-old young lady named Asifa in Kathua, who was purportedly snatched, sedated, assaulted, and killed on January 17.
The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, earlier today guaranteed that her administration won't enable the law to be deterred and equity will be conveyed to the victim.
According to the most recent development of the Unnao assault case, the casualty today requested quick capture of the charged BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, expecting that for fear that he may get her uncle killed.
On April 8, the casualty, alongside her relatives, had endeavored to confer suicide before Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's habitation in Lucknow, asserting that she was assaulted by Sengar and his fellow accomplices.
On Tuesday, the MLA's brother Atul Singh, along three others, was captured from Unnao on the headings of the DGP, by the Lucknow crime branch team.
