Prime Minister Modi features idea of charity during Ramzan

New Delhi, Apr 29 Extending warm welcome to the people on the propitious month of Ramzan Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that Prophet Mohammad is a motivation for all and his instructing of balance and fellowship should be trailed by all.

While addressing his 43rd edition of monthly Radio program 'Mann Ki Baat,' Prime Minister Modi said that it was Prophet Mohammad who put stock in the idea of philanthropy, which was imperative amid Ramzan.

"It is our responsibility to follow the path of equality and brotherhood as morals from his life. Prophet Mohammad Sahib (peace arrive) put stock in twin principles of knowledge and compassion," the Prime Minister said.

The holy month of Ramzan is starting in mid-May.
