Amethi, Apr 17 Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday called the current money mash because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi' Government's weak banking system.
"Modi ji has destroyed the banking system of the nation, that is the thing that I need to say in regards to it. During demonetisation also we were compelled to remain in lines as he (Prime Minister Modi) grabbed 500-1000 rupee notes from our pockets and put in specialist Nirav Modi's pocket," the Rahul Gandhi told.
He also attacked BJP-led Central government's motto 'Ache Din' and questioned as to when 'these goods days' are going to come.
The people in different states of the country, including Delhi, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Bihar are confronting money crunch and are not ready to withdraw cash from some ATMs.
Earlier, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley called the money smash as a 'temporary shortage' and guaranteed that the situation will be handled rapidly.
