New Delhi, Apr 17 In the first bilateral visit by an Indian chief to the Nordic country in 30 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his 3-country visit on Monday. The Prime Minister is on a five-day visit to three European nations - Sweden, United Kingdom, and Germany.
Following his arrival in Stockholm, PM Modi was welcomed by his Swedish partner Stefan Lofven. The two Prime Ministers voyaged together in a similar vehicle from the airport to the hotel.
Afterward, the Prime Minister met the Indian diaspora outside an inn in Sweden.
India and Sweden are jointly organising the India-Nordic Summit in Stockholm on Tuesday, which will also be gone to by the PMs of Finland, Norway, Denmark and Iceland.
Later, PM Modi will travel to the UK where he will go to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) and hold two-sided chats with his British partner Theresa May.
On Wednesday evening, PM Modi will address "Bharat Ki Baat, Sabke Saath" in an all inclusive communicate live occasion from the noteworthy Central Hall Westminster in London, following in the strides of speakers, for example, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.
