चेन्नई, 31 अगस्त मद्रास उच्च न्यायालय ने आज तमिलनाडु डेयरी डेवलपमेंट मिनिस्टर द्वारा अपने उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता के आरोप में तीन निजी दूध निर्माताओं द्वारा दायर किए गए नागरिक मुकदमों पर अपना आदेश सुरक्षित कर दिया।

यह सूट हट्सन एग्रो प्रोडक्ट लिमिटेड, डोडाला डेयरी लिमिटेड और विजय डेयरी एंड फार्म प्रोडक्ट्स प्राइवेट लिमिटेड ने दायर किया था।

तीन कंपनियों ने मुकदमा दायर किया था जिसमें मंत्री के केटी राजेन्द्र बालजी से प्रत्येक एक करोड़ रुपये का दावा किया था, जो बिना किसी आधार के अपने उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता पर मीडिया में आरोप लगाते थे।

अदालत ने 10 जुलाई को मंत्री को बिना किसी भी सबूत के निजी दूध निर्माता के खिलाफ आरोप लगाने से रोक दिया था।

26 जुलाई को, बालाजी ने अदालत में खटखटाया था, सूट की बर्खास्तगी और हर एक करोड़ रूपए के नुकसान के रूप में, यह कहकर "ब्लैकमेल कार्रवाई है"।

Chennai, Aug 31 The Madras High Court today saved its request on common suits documented by three private milk manufacturers claiming damages over charges made by the Tamil Nadu dairy development minister on quality of their products.

The suits were recorded by Hatsun Agro Product Limited, Dodla Dairy Limited and Vijay Dairy and Farm Products Private Limited.

The three organizations had documented the suits asserting Rs one crore each from the minister KT Rajendra Balaji for making charges in the media on the nature of their products with no premise.

The court had on July 10 limited the pastor from making assertions against private milk manufacturers with no proof.

On July 26, Balaji had moved the court, looking for expulsion of the suits and Rs one crore each as harms, saying it "is an blackmail action".

He had said even the Supreme Court had directed the central and state governments to find a way to execute the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 adequately.

Balaji had guaranteed he had material to demonstrate that the organizations had enjoyed milk adulteration..
