अस्पताल में इस साल जनवरी से 1,250 मौतें हुई हैं, खासकर एन्सेफलाइटिस, शिशु और बच्चों के वार्ड में।

जनवरी में टोल 152 (एनआईसीयू में 143 और एन्सेफलाइटिस वार्ड में नौ), फरवरी में 122 (117 और पांच) मार्च 15 9 (141 और 18) में, अप्रैल 123 (114 और नौ) में, मई 13 9 (127 और 12), 137 जून (125 और 12), जुलाई 128 (95 और 33), उन्होंने कहा।

प्रिंसिपल ने कहा कि अलग-अलग जटिलताओं वाले बच्चों और समय से पहले डिलीवरी से उत्पन्न होने वाली बीमारी, वजन, पीलिया, निमोनिया, संक्रामक रोगों और इन्सेफलाइटिस के कारण अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया जाता है, जो कि ज्यादातर गंभीर स्थिति में होते हैं।

सिंह ने जोर देकर कहा, "अगर मरीजों को पहले यहां लाया गया है तो बहुत सारे जीवन बचाया जा सकता है।"

उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने 12 अगस्त को एक समिति का गठन किया था, जिसमें अस्पताल में बच्चों की मौत हो गई थी। राज्य सरकार ने अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव चिकित्सा शिक्षा अनीता भटनागर जैन को भी बंद कर दिया था।

Offering a reprieve up of the causalities at the notorious medicinal college, Singh said 37 children have died August 27 and 28, of which 26 died in the neo natal ICU (NICU) and 11 in encephalitis ward.

The toll in January was 152 (143 in NICU and nine in encephalitis ward), in February it was 122 (117 and five), in March 159 (141 and 18), in April 123 (114 and nine), May 139 (127 and 12), June 137 (125 and 12), July 128 (95 and 33), he said.

The principal said children with various complications and illnesses emerging out of unexpected labor, under weight, jaundice, pneumonia, infectious diseases and encephalitis are admitted to the hospital, for the most part in an intense condition.

"A great deal many lives can be spared if patients are brought here before," Singh pushed.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had formed a committee on August 12, a day after the death of kids were accounted for at the hospital. The state government had likewise shunted out extra chief secretary medical education Anita Bhatnagar Jain.
