Ramdev's Narendra Modi-Naveen Patnaik proposition starts sharp response

Bhubaneswar, Aug 23 Yoga guru Ramdev today created a row when he said he would like to see both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik work in tandem for the larger benefit of the people.

The statement started a sharp reaction in the ruling BJD.

Senior minister and BJD VP Damador Rout requested that Ramdev quit yoga and join politics.

Prior he said his Patanjali Yogpeeth was considering setting up an Acharyakulam (a school in light of vedic-cum-present day training) and Yoga college in Odisha in the following two years.

He is here to go to a tradition of Patanjali distributors.
