जम्मू, 25 अगस्त जम्मू जिले में अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा पर भारतीय सीमा चौकी पर पाकिस्तान रेंजरों द्वारा गोलीबारी में एक सीमा सुरक्षा बल (बीएसएफ) जवान घायल हो गया।

एक पुलिस अधिकारी ने पीटीआई को बताया, "आज पाकिस्तान के आर एस पुरा सेक्टर में पाकिस्तान द्वारा युद्ध विराम का उल्लंघन हुआ था।"

उन्होंने कहा, एक बीएसएफ जवान सीमा पार से गोलीबारी में घायल हो गए हैं और उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।

गौरतलब है कि 17 जुलाई को बीएसएफ और पाकिस्तानी रेंजरों ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय सीमा के साथ सांबा क्षेत्र में एक कमांडेंट स्तरीय ध्वज बैठक आयोजित की थी और शांति बनाए रखने के लिए खुद को "प्रतिबद्ध" किया था।

जून में पाकिस्तानी पक्ष से 83 युद्धविराम का उल्लंघन, एक बैट (सीमावर्ती कार्रवाई टीम) के हमले और दो घुसपैठ की बोली हुई थी जिसमें 3 जवानों सहित 4 लोग मारे गए थे और 12 घायल हुए थे।

अधिकारियों के मुताबिक, मई में, 79 युद्ध विराम का उल्लंघन हुआ था।



Jammu, Aug 25 A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was harmed today in terminating by Pakistan Rangers at an Indian border outpost on the International Border in Jammu locale, police said.

"There was truce infringement by Pakistan in R S Pura segment (of Jammu) today," a cop told.

One BSF jawan maintained wounds in the terminating from over the border and has been hospitalized, he said.

Essentially, on July 17, the BSF and the Pakistan Rangers had held a commandant-level banner meeting in Samba area along the International Border and "submitted" themselves to looking after peace.

In the banner meeting, the two sides had consented to re-empower moment correspondence between field commandants, at whatever point required, to determine negligible issues, a BSF official had said.

"They committed on each other to keep up peace and serenity at the International Border," the authority had included.

Two days back, senior Army authorities of India and Pakistan likewise held a banner meeting on hold of Control (LoC) in Poonch segment in J&K and consented to organize systems for tough peace and peacefulness on the border.

The year 2017 has seen a sharp increment in ceasefire violations by Pakistan.

Till August 1, there were 285 such violations by the Pakistan Army while in 2016, the number was fundamentally less at 228 for the whole year, as per the Army figures.

Eleven people, including 9 soldiers, were killed and 18 harmed in ceasefire ceasefire by Pakistan Army in the period of July, the Army information says.

There were 83 ceasefire violations, one BAT (border action teram) assault and two penetration offers from the Pakistani side in June in which 4 people, including 3 jawans, were murdered and 12 harmed.

In May, there were 79 ceasefire violations, according to officials.
