Social welfare offices at block level in Haryana

Chandigarh, Aug 16 The Haryana government said today that it has chosen to set up social welfare offices in each piece of the state to guarantee viable observing and usage of different plans.

A whole of Rs 51 crore has been approved for the setting up of these offices.

Haryana's Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishan Kumar Bedi said that approval has been agreed to the production of 1,260 posts of various classes including Block Social Welfare Officer for the 126 squares.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had before reported at Meham in locale Rohtak that social welfare workplaces would be set up at square level.

The setting-up of piece level social welfare workplaces would turn out to be viable in observing and execution of the plans being controlled by the office, Bedi said.

The office spends about Rs 5,000 crore every year on all plans. The normal number of recipients per obstruct in all plans of the division is around 20,000 while normal consumption for each square is about Rs 40 crore, he included.

The minister said that in most of the social security schemes run by the department, close and dynamic co-appointment is required with panchayats, banks, post workplaces, city boards of trustees and other area and piece level workplaces from town to square level.

He said that the setting up of these workplaces at square level would help enormously in guaranteeing compelling observing and usage of different plans of the department.
