लखनऊ, 31 अगस्त उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने राज्य के बुंदेलखंड क्षेत्र के सात जिलों और 16 नगरपालिका के अंतर्गत वाले क्षेत्रों में 'गौशालाओं' (गाय आश्रयों) को स्थापित करने के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने इस उद्देश्य के लिए कल बैठक बुलाई थी, जिसके तहत अधिकारियों को गाय सुरक्षा समितियों की स्थापना के लिए निर्देश दिया गया ताकि यह सुनिश्चित हो सके कि गौशालाओं में जानवरों की उचित देखभाल की जा रही है।

उन्होंने अधिकारियों से कहा कि सात बुंदेलखंड जिलों में गाय आश्रयों की स्थापना के साथ-साथ राज्य के 16 नगरपालिका निगमों में इन जानवरों की उचित रखरखाव के लिए गिरफ्तार किए गए और भटकाव वाले मवेशियों की समस्या से निपटने के लिए भी।

आदित्यनाथ ने पहले चरण में कहा था कि प्रत्येक 'गोशाला' को 1000 जानवरों के आश्रय की क्षमता के साथ विकसित किया जाएगा।

मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह कार्य यूपी गौसीआ आयोग की देखरेख में किया जाएगा, यह बयान में कहा गया है कि गौशालाओं को उचित चलने के लिए जिला मजिस्ट्रेट के तहत समितियों की स्थापना के लिए निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं।

यह भी कहा गया है कि आवारा पशुओं की समस्या का हल ढूंढने और जानवरों के उचित चारा, पानी और सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आदेश जारी किए गए हैं।
