CM Adityanath targets Rahul Gandhi , says Gorakhpur not a 'picnic spot'

Gorakhpur (UP) Aug 19 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today hit out at Rahul Gandhi over his planned visit here saying the "yuvraj (prince) sitting in Delhi" can't be allowed to make Gorakhpur "a picnic spot".

The chief minister, who initiated a cleanliness battle in the area to handle the dangerous encephalitis episode in the wake of death of 71 youngsters at the BRD healing facility here, likewise focused on Samajwadi Party boss Akhilesh Yadav.

"I feel that the shehzada sitting in Lucknow ..yuvraj sitting in Delhi won't know the importance of this cleanliness battle. They will come here to make it an outing spot, we can't allow it," he stated, assaulting Gandhi who is scheduled to meet the families of the victims and visit the BRD hospital today.

"If someone gives an open challenge to the self respect of the people of Gorakhpur and eastern UP ...they will themselves approach to battle such feared ailments through their mindfulness," Adityanath focused on propelling the 'Swachch Uttar Pradesh - Swasthya Uttar Pradesh crusade' here .

Voicing trust that the campaign will be successful in checking encephalitis, he blamed the previous governments for denying the people of the condition of fundamental offices for their personal stakes.

Focusing on that more than treatment of encephalitis, checking its spread was essential for which cleanliness and consumable water were vital, the central clergyman said his legislature was working in such manner.

The chief minister, who has spoken to Gorakhpur in the Lok Sabha five times, will likewise visit encephalitis and surge influenced zones.

The Congress has targeted on the Aditynath Government over the deaths following claims that the children who were basically not well capitulated because of oxygen shortage.
