China trusts India, US can create ties "helpful" to regional peace

Beijing, Aug 16 China said today it hopes that India and the US can develop ties which are "favorable" to local peace and advancement after the two nations consented to improve peace and strength in the Indo-Pacific area by setting up another two-by-two ministerial dialogue.

President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi consented to upgrade peace and soundness in the Indo-Pacific area by setting up another two-by-two pastoral dialogue, which would lift their vital conferences, as per the White House.

Trump talked with Modi on Monday to welcome him on the eve of India's Independence Day.
