एक वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी ने कहा कि हालांकि यहां समस्या पैदा करने के लिए डेरा अनुयायियों की कोई विशेष जानकारी नहीं है, हालांकि, एहतियाती उपायों के रूप में राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है।

New Delhi, Aug 25 Delhi was today put on high alert in the wake of incidents of violence in Haryana following the conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda faction chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case, police said today.

A senior police officer said that despite the fact that there have been no particular contributions of Dera devotees intending to make inconvenience here, security has been expanded in the national capital as a prudent step.

The security in areas bodering Haryana has been increased, the police said.
