NR Narayana Murthy: Upset by Infy board's charges, will react at right time

New Delhi, Aug 18 Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy today said he is not looking for "any money, position for children, or power", while communicating anguish over the board's assertions that his "ceaseless ambush" prompted Vishal Sikka stopping as CEO.

Murthy, who has been in a long-running fight with the board and best administration of the organization he founded with six others more than three decades back, said his worry principally was the "deteriorating standard" of corporate governance at Infosys.

He likewise questioned the examinations that cleared the technology major of all charges of mismanagement.

In an unexpected declaration, Infosys today said Sikka has stopped as CEO after almost three years on the post.

Infosys Chairman R Seshasayee reacted to Murthy's charges saying the proposal that prestigious law and review firms will plot with the Board and neglect "offenses" of the CEO and post a spotless report, is "totally untenable".

Seshasayee and co-chairman Ravi Venkatesan, in any case, discounted any legal activity against Murthy.
