सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने, जेपी इंफ्राटेक के खिलाफ दिवाली की कार्यवाही को जारी रखने की अनुमति दी लेकिन उपभो आयोग जैसे अन्य मंचों में इसके खिलाफ शुरू की गई कार्यवाही पर रोक लगाई गई।

New Delhi, Sep 11 The Supreme Court today directed the embattled real estate firm Jaypee associates to store Rs 2000 crore by October 27 with its registry and asked the NCLT-named interval determination proficient (IRP) to take over its management and work out a plan to secure the interests of homebuyers and creditors.

The apex court, as a result, permitted the insolvency proceedings against Jaypee Infratech to proceed however remained the procedures started against it in other fora like the Consumer Commission.

It likewise limited the Managing Director and Directors of Jaypee Infratech, a sister organization of Jaypee partners, from travelling abroad without its earlier consent.

A bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud requested that the IRP present a determination design inside 45 days to the court, which should show the assurance of interests of homebuyers and the creditors.

The apex court, in any case, permitted Jaypee associates to raise Rs 2000 crore by selling land or any properties with the earlier approval of the IRP.

The top court had on September 4 remained the indebtedness procedures against the land firm at National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).
