New Delhi, Sep 29 Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday stated that activity will proceed at the international border with Pakistan independent of the whether the neighbouring have learnt a lesson or not. Speaking on the 2016 surgical strikes, Sitharaman said she would trust an activity of this kind would hinder Pakistan from training and sending terrorists.

"I would trust an action of this kind would deter Pakistan from preparing and sending fear mongers. My activity will proceed at the border regardless of whether they have learnt a lesson or not," said Sitharaman.

Addressing a press conference in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the guard serve said that she will make it clear in Parliament that she has reacted to queries on the Opposition's claims on Rafale deal four times and has additionally given composed reactions.
