Asia Cup: India to bowl first against Pakistan

Abu Dhabi, Sep 19 Pakistan have won the toss and asked that the Indian team bowl first in the much-awaited clash at the continuous Asia Cup here at Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday.

Following the toss, Indian captain Rohit Sharma stated, "We would've needed to bat first as well, yet it's alright to chase since we batted first yesterday. We were corroded yesterday, got to accept it. It will be a fantastic game today."

Reflecting on the playing XI, Sharma confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya have replaced Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmed.

Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed, then again, said that they would look put a decent aggregate on the board and put the Indian side under strain.

Talking about the team combinations, Ahmed confirmed that they are running with the same squad from the one against Hong Kong in their opening match of the tournament.

After avoiding an opening game defeat against Hong Kong, India would hope to enhance their execution and develop triumphant in the game.
