Congress ups campaigning game, to go for crowdsourcing

New Delhi, Sept 18 Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Congress party has decided to gather assets for campaigning through ccrowdsourcing from its 10 lakh booths across the country.

The mass campaigning for fund-collection will begin on October 2 and will end on the birth anniversary of former prime minister Indira Gandhi on November 19.

The party has set a target to collect Rs 500 crores, which would mean Rs 5000 from every booth committee.

The gathering has also instructed all its booth committees workers to go way to entryway and gather little sums, similar to Rs 5 and Rs 10, from each family unit. These workers are also anticipated that would convey battle flyers and flyers.

This method, the Congress believes, would strengthen their hold at the grassroots level specialists and supporters, who will feel more connected with the party by making direct contributions.

Speaking on the issue, Congress leader Ashok Gehlot stated, "Congress will begin a battle from October 2 to connect with individuals, examine state and national issues and gather reserves. Our workers will visit each booth, discuss state issues and connect with people.
