Think before levelling affirmations: Rajnath to Rahul Gandhi

Amreli (Guj), Sep 22 Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Saturday advised Congress president Rahul Gandhi not to make assertions against the administration on the Rafale issue without proof.

Singh said the verification of the French media report, which quoted previous French President Francois Hollande on the buy of the Rafale contender planes, will uncover reality.

Hollande was cited in a French media report as purportedly saying that the Indian government proposed Anil Ambani-drove Reliance Defence as the accomplice for Dassault Aviation in the Rs 58,000 crore Rafale fly warrior arrangement and France did not have a decision.

"The government has issued a statement on the issue. Let the verification of the report a chance to happen. It will clear the circumstance, it will uncover reality," Singh told reporters here.

The home minister, who was here to go to a gathering of the agreeable social orders area, proceeded to prompt Gandhi that he ought not make charges without proof.
