PM Modi commends Bohra people group for its patriotism

Indore, Sep 14 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that the Dawoodi Bohra people group, a faction inside the Ismaili branch of Shia Muslims, has demonstrated to us the way of uprightness with their doctrines of peace, unity and patriotism.

"With their doctrines of peace, unity and patriotism, the Dawoodi Bohra people group has shown us the way of righteousness. The community is moving the young people in the nation," the Prime Minister said while addressing a religious congregation of the community here at the Saifee Mosque on the event of 'Ashara Mubaraka'.

Recalling his long-standing relationship with the Bohra community, the Prime Minister stated: "It is my favorable luck that I have received the affection of the Bohra people group. The people group even helped me amid my residency as Gujarat's central pastor. It is the sheer love appeared by you people that has brought me here today."

'Ashara Mubaraka' is seen toward the start of the Islamic year and is sorted out to celebrate the suffering of Prophet Mohammed's grandson Imam Hussain.

While addressing the gathering here, the Prime Minister lauded Imam Hussain's efforts towards building up peace and equity over the world and furthermore hailed the network's endeavors in enhancing the state of kids and enabling society.

"The Dawoodi Bohra community's effort in improving condition of children has made some amazing progress in engaging society. They began network kitchens to give nourishment to all. To give moderate social insurance, the network is running a few healing centers," he said.

A day ahead of the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' development, the Prime Minister said that the Swachh Bharat battle has formed into a mass development, including that urban areas like Indore and Bhopal are setting benchmarks in the security of the earth.

The Prime Minister also informed that Ayushman Yojana, which has come as a friend in need for around 50 crore needy people of the nation, will guarantee free yearly therapeutic treatment worth Rs 5 lakh for each family, including that a preliminary keep running of the same is underway.

Apart from Prime Minister Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, profound leader of the Dawoodi Bohra people group Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin and scores of ncommunity members were also present at the event.
