India-Russia hold delegation level talks

Moscow, Sep 14 External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday led the Indian delegation at the 23rd gathering of India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission (IRIGC-TEC) to talk about the extension of Russia-India relationship over all sectors.

The Ministry of External Affairs representative, Raveesh Kumar took to Twitter to brief about the meeting which will be led by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov. "Meeting starts to grow our relationship over all areas and distinguish new chances! EAM @SushmaSwaraj and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov leading the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation," he wrote.

Informing that Swaraj was received by Borisov, Kumar further wrote, "Indian designation led by Minister of External Affairs H.E Sushma Swaraj meeting with the Russian appointment driven by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation H.E Yury Borisov at the 23rd gathering of India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission. Outer Affairs Minister of India H.E Sushma Swaraj is gotten by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation H.E Yury Borisov at the 23rd meeting of IRIGC-TEC."

Earlier, Swaraj met with her Russian partner Sergei Lavrov in Moscow and held talks on bilateral and regional issues on Thursday. Swaraj also said that she is looking forward to Putin's visit to India on October 4, which would further elevate India-Russia relations to the most highest level.
