Donald Trump reaffirmed plan to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un

Washington, Mar 17 US President Donald Trump has reaffirmed his intend to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un before the finish of May amid a call with South Korea's leader Moon Jae-in on Friday.

Trump and Moon talked about arrangements for their up and coming engagements with North Korea and concurred that "solid activities" were the way to accomplishing denuclearisation of North Korea, the White House said in an announcement.

The two leaders further communicated wary hopefulness over the current developments in regards to the discussions with North Korea to persuade the last to receive the procedure to nuclear weapons.

South Korea said on Friday it was looking high-level talks this month with North Korea to get ready for a gathering in regards to the denuclearization.

It further said that South Korean President Moon Jae-in may meet Donald Trump before the US president's arranged gathering with the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Earlier, Moon's chief of staff, Im Jong-Seok, said proposed North-South talks in late March would cover key plan subjects and different points of interest of the pending summit amongst Moon and Kim.

Earlier on March 13, Japan emphasized the need for North Korea to take 'solid activities' as to denuclearization.

Further Moon Jae-in on different events had called for re-approachment of six-country denuclearisation, including South and North Korea, China, Japan, US, and Russia.

The call for denuclearisation of the Korean landmass has also been supported by China and France who have stated it to help in achieving 'peace and stability'.
