New Delhi, Mar 11 French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday at the Founding Conference of the International Solar Alliance (ISA), asked the meeting dignitaries to set out their plans with respect to the age of solar energy.
"With PM Modi, we are committed and we have same obsession making momentum, inspiring individuals and gathering them to convey comes about. But we are obsessed by concrete results, so now we are making new momentum, we take new commitment to deliver complete results for our countries and planet," Macron said here.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Founding Conference of the ISA, listed out ten action points to bring about a worldwide solar revolution.
"We as a whole need to consider the route forward. I have ten activity focuses in my mind that I need to impart to you. Above all else, we need to guarantee that better and reasonable sun powered innovation is accessible and open to everybody. We have to expand the sunlight based extent in our vitality blend," the Prime Minister said here.
He said that sun powered solutions will also encourage innovation and stressed on the development of regulatory aspects and standards.
"We need to encourage development with the goal that sun based arrangements can be accommodated different requirements. We should give concessional financing and okay back for solar projects," he said.
"Regulatory aspects and standards must be produced which ought to receive sun oriented arrangements and accelerate their advancement. Creating nations should create consultancy bolster for bankable sun based ventures, to emphasise greater inclusiveness and participation in our efforts," he included.
PM Modi also recommended thinking back to the Vedas in a bid to battle environmental change.
"Vedas consider the Sun as the spirit of the world, it has been considered as an existence nurturer. Today, to combating environmental change, we have to take a gander at this old plan to discover a way," the PM said.
He also suggested measures to increase the consumption of solar energy.
"To advance the use of solar energy, the accessibility of innovation and improvement, financial assets, diminishment in costs, improvement of capacity innovation, mass assembling, and development require a total biological system," he said.
Prime Minister Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron co-led the principal establishing meeting of the ISA in New Delhi's Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The summit was attended by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, among different dignitaries from more than 50 nations.
The main objective of the ISA, the first treaty-based intergovernmental association is to work for proficient misuse of solar energy to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
