New Delhi, Mar 28 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated the retiring Rajya Sabha for their service and extended wishes for their future.

Addressing members at the Rajya Sabha, the Prime Minister stated, "We bid farewell to some of our MP colleagues in the Rajya Sabha. The Prime Minister also said few of the famous individuals from the House designated by the President, "We will recollect forget the recognized work of Parasaran Ji. The players who have made India glad, Dilip (Tirkey) ji and Sachin (Tendulkar) ji-in the coming, days we won't have the benefit of their essence. Everybody will recall Professor (P. J.) Kurien and his grinning face; this has been his forte and he assumed an important role in running the House."
