Kathmandu, Mar 17 Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri said that discussions with Pakistan were just conceivable, just if Islamabad takes an extreme position on terrorism and solving other issues, which has since quite a while ago tormented the two-sided ties between the two nations.
Commenting on the tact tussle, Puri stated, "Dialogue is just conceivable just on the off chance that they take an intense position on terrorism. If a country knows what to do and what not to do, at that point it should make a move on those issues, which will help in guaranteeing security and safety between the two nations. Terrorism must be stopped totally. This is absolutely necessary. If they can make a move, at that point we can hold chats on different issues too. More things will come into the limelight soon."
A week ago, the Pakistan High Commission complained that its diplomats were being subjected to 'various types of badgering' in New Delhi. It had gotten back to its agent to India Sohail Mahmood back to Islamabad for 'consultation'.
India too has alleged that few Indian mission staff members in Islamabad have been severely 'harassed and intimidated'.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) representative Raveesh Kumar said on Thursday that the issue of affirmed badgering of Indian diplomats has been raised and taken up with the experts in Islamabad.
On the question of how India would connect with the new government of Nepal, the envoy underscored that the two nations were anticipating upgrading their respective ties and were taking ahead real activities started by the two sides.
"For instance, we have a 900-megawatt hydroelectric plant project which will be the biggest task, perhaps in Nepal. We are looking such a large number of other critical tasks and taking it forward including rail connections and street joins. Availability and the simplicity of working together is an intense undertaking of us and one of the major objectives of India-Nepal partnership."
Puri expressed happiness that the respective exchange was achieving new statures and was expanding quickly finished the years.
He further said that both the nations' economy would see an impressive growth and the natives of the two nations would profit to a great extent
