New Delhi, Mar 24 the public works department of the Delhi government has decided to complete resurfacing of streets and improve footpaths in the area from Lal Jain Mandir to Fatepuri Mosque in congested Chandni Chowk zone.
The office has approved an expected cost of around 2.46 crore to execute the project whose delicate will be glided soon, a move proposed to embellish the region of old Delhi.
An authority said the area engineer has been directed to submit the observing report each month once the execution of undertaking is begun.
"The division has offered endorsement to the resurfacing of road and change of foothpath of Chandni Chowk street from Lal Jain Mandir to Fathepuri Mosque for an expected cost of Rs 2,46,69,700," the authority said.
The road extend from Lal Jain Mandir to Fatepuri Mosque houses shops which witness expansive footfall of customers.
