Moscow, Mar 27 (AFP) Russian President Vladimir Putin today faulted the mall fire that killed at least 64 people in the Siberian city of Kemerovo on "criminal negligence" as he travelled there.
"What is going on here? These are not armed hostilities. This isn't a sudden arrival of methane. People, children came to unwind," Putin told authorities in Kemerovo in comments released by the Kremlin.
"We are talking about demographics but are losing such a large number of people. As a result of what? In light of some criminal negligence, slovenliness.
