Rahul Gandhi visits Shringeri Sharadamba Temple in Karnataka

Chikmagalur [Karnataka], Mar 21 Congress President Rahul Gandhi, alongside different Congress leaders, went to Shringeri Sharadamba Temple in Karnataka's Chikmagalur area on Wednesday.

Gandhi, who is on a two-day visit to poll bound Karnataka, went to Sharadamba temple in Sringeri Mutt today.

He also collaborated with the students of the Rajiv Gandhi Sanskrit University in Sringeri Mutt.

Later in the day, he will address public meetings in Chikkamagaluru and Hassan.

"Proceeding with our #JanaAashirwadaYatre, today I will address open gatherings in Chikkamagaluru and Hassan. I will likewise visit the Sringeri Mutt and the Rajiv Gandhi Sanskrit University," Rahul Gandhi tweeted prior in the day.

Ahead of the election in the 224-member get together in Karnataka, the state has seen visit visits by national pioneers, from both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

While the ruling Congress is endeavoring to hold control in Karnataka, the BJP is peering toward to grab the southern state from it. Prior, the Congress had ousted the BJP in Karnataka in 2013.
