Congress baying for my blood: Shivraj Singh Chouhan on stone assault

Bhopal, Sep 3 A day after unidentified miscreants hurled stones at his vehicle, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan termed the assault unprecedented and accused the Congress party for baying for his blood.

Addressing reporters, Chouhan marked charges against the Congress saying, "The Congress is unmistakably baying for my blood. Such an assault is incomprehensible in Madhya Pradesh. There are contrasts of feeling, belief systems, yet this is a remarkable one." Chouhan is occupied with visiting the state ahead of the assembly polls later this year.

"I need to ask Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Congress state president, in which course do they wish to take the Congress? Is it fine with what their pioneers and specialists are doing?" asked Chouhan while attacking the heavy hitters of the Congress party.

On Sunday, stones were flung at Chouhan's vehicle while he was directing the 'Jan Aashirwad Yatra' in the state's Sidhi region. The episode apparently happened in Churhat zone in the gathering electorate of Congress' Ajay Singh.
