VP Venkaiah Naidu to address World Hindu Congress in US

New Delhi, Sep 5 Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu will set out on a two-day visit from September 8 to the United States to deliver an address at the second World Hindu Congress (WHC) in Chicago.

According to a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Naidu will also associate with the members from the Indian community during the visit.

The WHC, which is slated to be held from September 7 to 9, is a "worldwide stage for Hindus to interface, share thoughts, rouse each other, and effect the benefit of all. It offers Hindus an opportunity to introspect towards change and take advantage of their aggregate assets to look for unmistakable answers for the most problems that are begging to be most pressing issues of this age," as indicated by its website.

Held once every four years, WHC's seven parallel conferences showcase how the values, creativity, and entrepreneurial soul of the worldwide Hindu people group discover articulation in an assortment of circles, including monetary, instruction, media, hierarchical, and political, and additionally the exceptional initiative and commitments of Hindu ladies and youth, the site included.

The global event also denotes the celebration of 125 years of Swami Vivekananda's address at the World's Parliament of Religions in Chicago.
