Barabanki (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 11 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday reported ex gratia of Rs. 2 Lakh each for the kinfolk of Barabanki's hooch tragedy.
The chief minister also directed a joint team of extract division and home ministry to investigate the issue in which 12 people died the bucket after professedly devouring spurious liquor at their relative's place on Tuesday night.
Nonetheless, the area's Excise Department keeps up that the deaths were caused by cold wave.
