SSC paper leak: Process for CBI investigation has started, says Manoj Tiwari

New Delhi, Mar 4 Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Manoj Tiwari on Sunday sponsored the interest for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the alleged Staff Selection Commission (SSC) paper leak.

Tiwari said that he met with the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh alongside challenging SSC wannabes to talk about their concern.

"Home Minister heard the students and guaranteed activity in such manner," he said.

He further said that if corruption has happened then it should be investigated including, "We are against corruption and the request of these understudies is exceptionally veritable."

"I have finish confidence in my legislature, the guilty party whoever it might be, won't be saved as BJP and Delhi state remain by their demand," he included.

Another BJP Member of Parliament (MP) Meenakshi Lekhi guaranteed the wannabes of a fair investigation at the earliest.

"We have had meeting with the Home Minister and he guaranteed us that an examination has been started for the situation," she said including that a careful test will be done in the issue.

Since February 27, students have taken to the streets of Delhi, challenging what they term as "mass cheating".

On February 24, the SSC released a notice saying that the exam held on February 21 was deferred because of "technical reasons" and will be re-conducted on March 9.
