Turkey captures 12 IS suspects

Turkey, Mar 5 Turkey on Monday captured at least 12 Islamic State (IS) at least 12 Islamic State counter-terrorism raid across the nation over, as indicated by a security source.

The detained suspects, who were foreigners, were found allegedly recruiting people to the feared terror group and were in contact with people in the contention zones of Syria and Iraq.

The source included that the Turkish police were looking for the staying eight suspects.

The detentions came as the US Embassy in Ankara was shut on Monday due to an "unspecified" security threat. In its site, it specified to stay away from the government office and "expansive group" at places that witnesses high footfall and said that the embassy would open soon, Anadolu news agency reported.
